Acceptance of Terms

By using AgentIO, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

Description of Service

AgentIO is an open source command-line interface (CLI) tool that allows users to interact with their Gmail account through the Gmail API. The software is provided free of charge.

Use of Service

Permitted Use

You may use AgentIO to:

• Search and read your own emails
• Send emails from your own account
• Create and manage drafts in your own account
• Automate email workflows for personal or business use

Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to use AgentIO to:

• Send spam or unsolicited bulk emails
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Distribute malware or malicious content
• Exceed Google's API usage limits or violate Google's Terms of Service

Account Authorization

AgentIO requires you to authorize access to your Google account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device and credentials
• All activity that occurs through your authorized account
• Revoking access if you suspect unauthorized use

Disclaimer of Warranties

AgentIO is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or reliability

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of AgentIO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data
• Loss of profits
• Business interruption
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the software

Third-Party Services

AgentIO integrates with Google's Gmail API. Your use of Gmail through AgentIO is also subject to:

• Google Terms of Service
• Google API Services User Data Policy

Open Source License

AgentIO is open source software. The source code is available at github.com/plosson/agentio and is subject to its respective license terms.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected in this document with an updated date. Continued use of AgentIO after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Termination

You may stop using AgentIO at any time by:

• Revoking access at Google Security Settings
• Deleting the local configuration directory (~/.config/agentio)
